What is a book?

A book is a home. It's a place where you can go when you are feeling down and need something to pick you up. You can go to that one place that makes you feel better. In my opinion, I prefer using real books instead of using a kindle. Having a book just makes the experience ten times more powerful. I like having a book also because when I am done reading it I can put it with all the other books I have finished and feel accomplished. There is something about the way a book smells and how you feel while reading it. If you have a kindle I guess it can be nice in some ways, but what if it breaks? What if your account somehow stops working and you lose all those books on it? With a real book the worst that can happen is that it gets wet, but it will dry! When you are reading a book in public, people might think "oh that looks like an interesting book" but with an e-book, people won't get to see what your reading at all, and if they tried to see what you were reading, well than it would be very strange and awkward. I love reading so much and I think that I will always like to have a real book with me, but that is just my opinion.

Why I read

         I love to read. I have ever since i was a little kid. I don't really know what got me interested into reading, but when I did start reading, i wouldn't stop. When I read, I feel like I can just get away from the world. I read because it gives to something to do when I am bored. It lets me imagine the characters in my perspective and how I want them to be. I read because I like to find traits that I have with some of the characters. When I read, I can experience something that would never happen in real life. Reading can also help me in life. It makes to more smart, it opens my mind up to new things, and it helps me with issues that I may be facing. When I am reading a really good book, I cant stop, and when I have to stop, all I think about is the book and the characters, what may happen next, maybe thinking about a surprise that came up in the book that I didn't expect to come. Reading helps me go into my own world where almost everything is perfect. I will always love reading and I will never stop.
